COVID-19 Fund
This is clearly a worrying and unprecedented situation for everybody and the Trustees feel the Constructors’ Charitable Trust, on behalf of the Company, should contribute towards the inevitable special needs that will arise.
In order to give flexibility for giving beyond our usual criteria, and also to distinguish between needs arising from Covid-19 and our regular giving, the Trustees have decided to set aside a sum of £10,000 towards a ‘Covid-19 Emergency Fund’.
Depending on the availability of the Trust’s resources and demand. the amount of the Covid-19 Fund will be kept under review by the Trustees.
It is likely that donations would be outside our normal criteria but these are exceptional times and the Trust consider that exceptions should be made. For the avoidance of doubt the COVID-19 Fund will be separate from and in addition to the Trust’s usual annual donations.
As at July 24th the following donations have been made:
COVID-19 Pan Livery NHS Kitchen Initiative £2,000
COVID-19 Livery Schools iPad initiative £1,000
London First Responders £1,000
