WCC Freeman gains WINTRADEWEEK award

Freeman Diana Chrouch (second from the left above), who, as a member of our Membership Committee is leading the work that their diversity sub-committee is undertaking, has been “Highly Commended” by WINTRADEWEEK in their recent awards ceremony.  The WINTRADE “Women of Excellence” award, which was sponsored by YRG Concierge, honoured Diana for her work as special advisor to the All Party Parliamentary Group for Black Asian and Minority Owned businesses chaired by Chi Onwurah MP, the Shadow Minister for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy as well as her “tireless work for the UK Economic Blueprint Women and her work within the Company.  The aim of the All Party Parliamentary Group is to represent the interests of BAME business owners in the UK to enable them to engage with government and policy makers.

Diana, was admitted to the Company in December 2018, and has been a member of our Membership Committee since then.  Along with the Master, Mike Parrett and the Company, she is determined to recruit those who are currently under represented in the Company, wider City Livery and the construction industry as a whole.
