How to avoid disputes with Liveryman Gary Jackson MRICS MAE\nGary is a Chartered Land Surveyor and qualified Expert Witness\, with almost 40 years of experience within the public and private sectors and has provided numerous surveys for government\, educational and financial institutions\, as well as a broad range of commercial clients including Architects\, Engineers\, Developers\, Solicitors and other professional consultants\, such as Party Wall Surveyors and Right of Light Consultants. \nWith an ever-increasing demand for survey work and expert reports for Court use\, in relation to boundary related issues\, Gary  has focused on this area of work and developed his expertise over the past 10 years and now serves on the RICS Working Group for Boundaries and Party Walls\, which provides guidance and documentation for the surveying industry. \nGary’s presentation will give some insight into the documentation and principles of dealing with a boundary related dispute\, provide some examples of “where it all went wrong”\, (commercial and residential)\, and how to avoid a costly dispute in the future. \n\n
