SUMMARY:Court Ceremony and Reception
DESCRIPTION:  \nCourt Ceremony and Reception \nFor several months now Court meetings have been held virtually\, and whilst Freemen have been admitted to the Company\, Liverymen clothed and a Yeoman also admitted to the Company\, they have not benefitted from the normal procedure.  The Court had therefore decided that a Formal Ceremony and Reception should be held (regulations permitting) on 22 April 2021 at which the members of the Company can welcome the new members and Liverymen.  However\, this is not possible\, so the event has been deferred to 9 September 2021. \nThe outline plan is for a Presentation Court to run 1630-1800 to welcome those Liverymen\, Freemen\, Yeoman and Prize winners\, and make the relevant presentations. \nAt 1800 – 2100 there will be a free reception for Company members. Members wishing to bring a guest (initially 1 per member) will need to pay £35 for that guest. \nA flyer will be produced nearer the time and that will be the time to book. \n
