DESCRIPTION:Sir Ian Dixon Award Presentation Evening \n– UPDATED ARRANGEMENTS – \nThis event will now take place on 8th May 2019 at the Building Centre.  It was also thought that this event might be combined with the already deferred Royal Charter International Research Award presentation\, but this is now considered to be impracticable\, so another date and venue will be advertised for the Royal Charter International Award as soon as possible. \nAll members are cordially invited to attend this important event in our calendar.  There is no cost\, but members should eventually express their intent to attend by emailing the organisers at scholarship@ciob.org.uk.  The email can be generated here. \nThe evening will include a presentation by this year’s SIDS scholar\, Anna Koukolis of Willmott Dixon Interiors\, whose subject is “The UK’s Forgotten Youth – training and employment opportunities in Construction”.  A Q&A session will follow and the evening will conclude with a light buffet reception. \nThe detailed timings are: \n\n\n\n\n	18:30Arrival and drinks reception\n\n\n	19:00Presentation\n\n\n	19:30Q & A\n\n\n	20:45Buffet and drinks\n\n\n	21:30Event Close\n\n\n\n\nThe flyer for the event can be downloaded here. \n
