This charitable event celebrates the ancient “right” of Freemen to bring sheep to market over the Thames\, toll-free\, all while raising funds for The Woolmen Charity and The Lord Mayor’s Appeal. \nJoin us on Sunday\, September 29th\, 2024\, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM\, as Southwark Bridge transforms into a bustling hub of wool trades\, products\, demonstrations\, and specialty craft stalls. The Fair\, located adjacent to the Sheep Drive\, will feature esteemed guests including the Lord Mayor and Alderman Nicholas Lyons. \nWith Southwark Bridge closed to traffic for the day and conveniently situated between St. Paul’s Cathedral and Shakespeare’s Globe\, this promises to be a remarkable family outing.
