The Livery Committee assists Livery Companies in their support of the Mayoralty and the City of London Corporation.  It is aimed at creating awareness amongst Liverymen and the general public of the work of the Livery Companies.  It undertakes such tasks which are intended to be in the best interests of the general body of the Livery.

The Livery Committee of the City of London assists Livery Companies in their support of the Mayoralty and the City of London Corporation. It is aimed at creating awareness amongst Liverymen and the general public of the work of the Livery Companies.
The Livery Committee organises a number of City Briefings each year; these are aimed in particular at new Freemen and Liverymen and provide an overview of the work of the City of London Corporation, the range of its activities and its relationship with the Livery Companies. The courses also address some key issues being faced by the City, and how Liverymen can get involved in City affairs.
There is an opportunity to ask questions of the speakers and also to mix with other Freemen and Liverymen over a glass or two of wine afterwards.
