Lord Mayor’s Show, 10 Nov 12

The Lord Mayors Show takes place on Saturday 10 Nov. The Master, Senior Warden and Liveryman Martin Hornby will represent the Company on the Modern Companies Float. Members of the Company wishing to watch should meet under the Clock at St Mary Le Bow and on completion will adjourn to the Little Ship Club (See separate flyer from David Rundle). All interested should reply to David on the flyer as soon as possible.

Wellbeing of Women Christmas Fair, Drapers Hall 3rd Dec 2012

The City of London Christmas fair is held every year in aid of the Wellbeing of Women; at the fair you can browse stalls filled with original luxury goods. The fair is in Drapers Hall Throgmorton Street runs from 1100 – 2000 and has an entry cost of £5 payable on the door, (or for those of you who are well organised there is an online offer of 3 for £10 if booked before 26th Nov 2012 at:

Christmas Lunch at Armourer’s Hall and Annual Carol Service at St Lawrence Jewry 06 December 2010.

The Christmas lunch will follow Court on 6 Dec 2012 and will be followed by a Carol Service at St Lawrence Jewry, flyer with these notes, Summary Reception is at 1245 with lunch at 1315 cost £65 including wine & VAT. The Carol Service will be at St Lawrence Jewry at 1530.

The Worshipful Company of Makers of Playing Cards organises and subsidise this annual competition. Details are:

Times: Reception 1700, First Session 1730, Dinner 1930, Second session 2015, Prize giving 2200.
