Goldsmiths Company: Silver in the Fast Lane – 40 Years of Fox Silver
The Goldsmiths’ Company invite Constructors to attend “Silver in the Fast Lane – 40 Years of Fox Silver”, a retrospective to celebrate the work of Fox Silver at Goldsmiths’ Hall this summer. This display is a rare opportunity to see the work of Fox Silver, revealing Serena and Richard Fox’s collaborative partnership over the last 40 years. It includes iconic pieces, from F1 trophies to Goldsmiths’ Company commissions, pieces from private collections, Downing Street, Bulgari, Lambeth Palace and a collection of fine jewellery.
Alongside the exhibition will be a programme of talks, interviews, private tours and handling sessions and a Goldsmiths’ Centre Creative Links workshop held in the Goldsmiths’ Company Library. A brand new book about Fox Silver will be launched alongside the exhibition, accompanied by a short film by documentary filmmaker Sarah Fox, charting the journey of the Formula 1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix trophy from workshop to track.
The Goldsmiths would like to invite Constructors to Goldsmiths’ Hall, which is usually closed to the public to see the new exhibition. It will run from 10-22 June (Monday-Saturday, 10am-4pm) at Goldsmiths’ Hall, 13 Foster Lane, London, EC2V 6BN.
