INTRODUCTION
The Worshipful Company of Constructors Charitable Trust is dedicated to transforming lives through education, research, and support for those in need. Our initiatives aim to foster professional development, community involvement, and support for the City of London and the Armed Forces.
Our longstanding commitments include funding for a three-year stonemasonry apprenticeship at York Minster and a landmark partnership with Primary Engineer to bring engineering into London classrooms. The Charitable Trust also supports the Mansion House Scholarship Scheme, which provides funding for students and young professionals in the finance sector, and proudly contributes annually to the Lord Mayor’s Appeal, helping to fund important community projects across London.
The Company is affiliated with HMS Lancaster, RAF 5001 Squadron, 101 Engineering Regiment (EOD) and 14 Company South West London Army Cadet Force, supporting a range of awards and initiatives.
OUR GOALS
In 2024, thanks to the generous support of our members, we raised over £64,000 for our charitable causes, an increase from just over £42,000 in 2022. We are deeply grateful for this growth, but our aim is to continue expanding our contributions and maximise the positive impact we can make together. To help us achieve this, you can support us through the following donation options:
One-off Donations – A single donation boosts our fund and helps us respond quickly to worthy causes.
Monthly Donations – Set up a Standing Order for regular contributions, ensuring steady income and supporting long-term planning.
No matter how you choose to give, please remember to download and complete the Gift Aid form and email it to us, so we can make your donation go even further.
“We are thrilled to welcome the support of the Worshipful Company of Constructors Charitable Trust at such a significant level towards a new apprentice stonemason at York Minster. This generous grant very much represents our strong shared aims in engaging the next generation of heritage construction professionals, through this exciting opportunity to join the workforce at one of the most iconic buildings in the country.
The new stonemason will join us at a unique moment in York Minster’s history, as we open the doors of our new Centre for Excellence to the world and develop our growing international network of cathedrals and heritage institutions. We are deeply grateful to the Trust for such generous investment in our work and very much look forward to welcoming the new apprentice into our workforce this autumn.”
