Worshipful Company of Constructors Celebrating International Women’s Day
Women in Construction Leadership: Progress and Collaboration
To celebrate International Women’s Day and mark Master Deborah Pullen MBE’s leadership year, the Worshipful Company of Constructors hosted a ‘Women in Construction Leadership’ roundtable on 7th March at the Royal Automobile Club in London.
The event gathered influential women leaders to discuss challenges and opportunities in advancing to leadership roles. This initiative is part of the Constructors’ Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) Committee’s strategy to foster collaboration and create pathways for women in senior positions.
Diana Chrouch OBE, Chair of the Constructors’ D&I Committee, highlighted the impact of female leadership, stating, “Women are important assets in construction, and in leadership, they drive inclusion, innovation and sustainability for the industry’s future.”
Discussions focused on mentorship, sponsorship, unconscious bias, and inclusive workplace cultures. The Worshipful Company of Constructors remains committed to championing diversity, ensuring women’s leadership is not just encouraged but expected.
