Climate Action Committee Event with iRecycle

iRecycle is a pioneering company, formed with a single vision: ‘change for better’ by moving Waste by Water; they are helping to remove traffic off the heavily congested London roads, to reduce harmful Co2 emissions & the protection of our environment runs at their very core.

Canal Clean Up:

As part of iRecycles initiative they have started running regular Canal Clean Up (CCU) events to remove any rubbish & pollutants from the canal. Teams of 5 can go on board their electric powered boats with a member of the iRecycle team to assist with clearance, photography & waste collation as they sail.

Voyage Information:

• Maximum 6 people
• Standard voyage time is 3 hours
• Litter pickers, sea magnets, extendable nets & clear waste bags are provided
• Life jackets must be worn by under 18-year-olds
• Adults can choose to wear life jackets
• No alcohol permitted
• No swimming
