Join us for an evening dedicated to NET-ZERO innovations, organised by the Information Technologists and Constructors Towers. The event will be held at the prestigious WCIT Hall in the heart of London, offering a platform for networking, learning, and collaboration.
Key note speakers:
Tony Smith- Sika
Tony Smith, Head of Product Management at Sika, brings over 9 years of expertise from a national aggregate and Readymix firm. He oversees the introduction of new products and ensures technical/legal compliance. Tony is a Certified Surveyor in Structural Waterproofing, actively contributing to industry bodies like the Cement Admixtures Association and the British Precast Concrete Federation. His collaborative work with design teams has resulted in practical and effective waterproofing schemes.
Ismail Hussein – Slabtec
Ismail from Slabtec, a Civil/Structural engineer, brings diverse expertise in refurbishment, concrete repair, structural strengthening, waterproofing, and temporary works. His role involves collaborating with engineers, contractors, and clients to offer solutions for refurbishing existing structures. Slabtec, a specialised refurbishment contractor, excels in concrete repair and the design/installation of innovative structural strengthening solutions.
Russell Macdonald – Hewlett Packard Enterprise
Russell Macdonald, HPE’s Chief Technologist for Hybrid Solutions, leads in hybrid cloud, data-first modernization, and IT sustainability. With a strong commitment to sustainability, he contributes to HPE’s ESG council, speaks at the BCS Green IT Specialist Group, and is part of various initiatives like the Climate Change & IT Working Group. Russell is also involved in the Social Value Leadership Group of WCIT, a Fellow of RSA, and a member of BCS and ICRS.
