• MP for Spelthorne, Surrey since 2010
• Appointed as The Secretary of State at the Department of Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy in January 2021
• Kwasi was previously Minister of State at the Department of Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy
• Author of several titles including – ‘Thatcher’s Trial: Six Months that Defined a Leader’ (2015) & ‘Ghosts of Empire: Britain’s Legacies in the Modern World’ (2012)
• Before becoming an MP, Kwasi worked as a columnist for The Daily Telegraph and was also an analyst for JPMorgan Chase.

• his views on the progress of Brexit – in particular in relation to exports and trade disruption
• the prospects for a free trade agreement with the EU involving financial services within this parliament?
• does the UK need an Industrial Strategy?
• his views on the current national mood, leadership at this tough time and managing in times of adversity
• how his academic studies in History (& Classics) have shaped his career as both Politician & acclaimed author
