Press Release: Worshipful Company of Constructors and Forum for the Built Environment Resurrect Historic Partnership

London, UK, Feb 2023 – The Worshipful Company of Constructors and Forum for the Built Environment are pleased to announce the resurrection of a historic partnership that dates back to the origins of the Constructors.

The Constructors emerged out of the Faculty of Building, now known as Forum for the Built Environment, when members of the London Chapter resolved to apply for Livery Status with the City of London Corporation. Now, the two organizations have come together once again to collaborate on initiatives that will promote their shared objectives.

The partnership will focus on fostering ties between members of the two organisations in furtherance of their shared objective to build a better built environment and positively impact the communities in which construction operates through support for charitable causes. The partnership will create networking and mentoring opportunities for those just starting out in their career and established professionals alike.

“We are thrilled to be partnering with the Forum for the Built Environment once again,” said David Sheehan, Master of the Worshipful Company of Constructors. “This partnership will allow us to build on the legacy of our shared history and work together to create a brighter future for our two organisations and the wider construction industry.”

“The Forum for the Built Environment is excited to be working with the Worshipful Company of Constructors once again,” said the Chief Executive of Forum for the Built Environment David Jones. “We believe that this partnership will bring a renewed energy and focus to our shared mission of promoting excellence in the construction industry and supporting the professional development of those working in the field.”

The Worshipful Company of Constructors and Forum for the Built Environment will officially launch the partnership at the Livery and Awards Dinner on 22nd Feb 2023.
