This recognition is a testament to Rob’s exceptional dedication, expertise, and outstanding contributions to the built environment industry.

The Master Certificate Scheme, an initiative designed to celebrate excellence and recognise the pinnacle of skill and experience within our profession, has bestowed this honour upon Rob Beales to acknowledge his remarkable career journey and significant achievements.

Rob Beales, Director for WB Shiels, has been an integral part of the built environment sector for over 25 years. His impressive portfolio includes a diverse range of projects across the United Kingdom, including the recently completed AstraZeneca global headquarters in Cambridge, which was inaugurated by His Majesty King Charles III.

Furthermore, Rob’s commitment to environmental sustainability and his leadership role within The Worshipful Company of Constructors is commendable. As Chair of the Climate Action Committee, he spearheaded efforts that led to the company becoming the first Net Zero Livery Company. His involvement in various initiatives, such as the Livery Climate Action Group and the Skills for a Sustainable Skyline Taskforce for the City of London Corporation, underscores his dedication to creating a more sustainable future for our industry.

Upon receiving the Master Certificate at Mansion House, London, on March 11, 2024, Rob Beales expressed his gratitude, stating, “It was a great honour to attend Mansion House, London, to be awarded The Master Certificate by The Rt Hon. The Lord Mayor of London Michael Mainelli.
