Christmas Message From The RT Hon The Lord Mayor

In a festive message dated December 20th, 2023, the Rt Hon the Lord Mayor and Lady Mayoress extend warm Christmas wishes to Liverymen. The mayoral theme, “Connect to Prosper,” emphasises celebrating the ‘Knowledge Miles’ within the Square Mile and reviving the City’s coffee house tradition.

Expressing gratitude for the successful Lord Mayor’s Show, the Lord Mayor thanks participating livery companies and highlights the international connections showcased during the event.

The Lord Mayor announces the sponsorship of the 695th Lord Mayor’s Knowledge Miles Lecture Series, “coffee colloquies,” and virtual coffee mornings. These initiatives aim to strengthen connections within the Livery, academia, businesses, and the wider public.
