The Worshipful Company of Constructors recently hosted an exclusive and memorable event, the SAS Evening with Robin Horsfall, on Monday, May 13, at the historic Trinity House. This elegant Gala Fundraising Banquet featured a captivating address by distinguished guest Robin Horsfall, a motivational speaker with a remarkable history as a boy soldier, paratrooper, SAS soldier, and frontline veteran of five wars.
The evening was a triumph of charitable fundraising, supporting causes such as The City of London, Education and Training Scholarships, Armed Forces, Constructing our Future, and the Relief of Hardship. The event underscored the Constructors’ commitment to philanthropy and community support.
The banquet was attended by a host of distinguished guests, including headline sponsor Azad Ayub Limited and drinks reception sponsor Considerate Constructors Scheme, represented by Amit O., Kevin Hutchinson, George Faulkner, and Frederick Ortiz. The Music String Quartet Sponsor table featured notable attendees such as Senior Court Assistant Andrew Hornby, Middle Warden Henry Lamb, Constructors Clerk Kim Tyrrell, and Past Master Douglas Barrat.
