Membership & Working Groups
Who are the key people involved?
All of us!
This isn’t something a few of us in a dusty committee room can fix! However, a core committee has been formed and as our activities advance and evolve, more people will be needed to join our cause.
Please contact Lisa Kenny if you are interested in joining the Climate Action Committee.
GET INVOLVED
Following the successful establishment of this new committee in 2021, we are now seeking expressions of interest from WCC Members at any level, who want to be involved in this highly active and impactful task force, as our activities and industry influence is set to increase going forwards.
To date we have been responsible for helping to shape the Livery Climate Action Group (LCAG) in support of the City of London Climate Action Strategy, by providing Constructors to participate in this overarching activity, as well as contribute to numerous related activities in our own Company.
We are seeking members with a range of skills from clerking and admin to report writing and project management. Good knowledge of sustainability and its application in the built environment is by no means a requirement, rather readiness, willingness and ability to join in with various tasks spanning our focus areas of: net zero action, industry leadership, events, sustainability research and guidance, digital communications and social media.
Above all we are looking for active members who want to be part of leading change in this important area, both in the Livery and the Built Environment sector which we serve.
Please contact Lisa Kenny if you want to find out more.
