The Constructor’s 30/30 challenge was a huge success thanks to everyone who participated we raised a significant donation, and we also are proud to announce the grand prize winner, drum roll, please…
Congratulations to Alison Gowman for winning the 30/30 Selfie Challenge! You’ve won an invitation to one of our swanky Livery dinners and will be presented with a bottle of champagne. Well done Alison.
To win this fun challenge, Alison made her way around London to many different buildings, some very famous ones, some livery halls and some hidden!
The end goal was to take 30 selfies over the course of 30 days for a great cause, raising donations for the CRASH – Construction Industry’s Charity, where 100% of all our donations went to the organisation which helps with constructing places for people who are homeless, and for children and adults living with a life-limiting illness.
Some of the iconic places you’ll see in our video montage of Alison’s selfie’s include, The Shard, St Paul’s Cathedral, The Tower of London, The Gherkin and The Heron Tower.
While some of the more hidden gems include; The Temple of Mithras, St Olave’s Church, St James Church and St John’s Gate.
And finally, some of our favourite Livery Halls can also be seen; Draper’s Hall, Butcher’s Hall, Grocer’s Hall and Armourer’s Hall.
Thank you again to everyone who donated and participated in the 30/30 challenge. We look forward to seeing you all at our upcoming Livery Luncheon, please check your emails or get in touch with Kim Tyrrell, the Constructor’s Clerk, to RSVP before it’s sold out!
