Young Voices on Climate Change Seminar
28 February, 2022 @ 6:00 pm
FreeYoung Voices on Climate Change
The next generation talk about their ideas for tackling climate change and suggest next steps for the Livery, Square Mile and beyond:
“What do the younger generation really think about Climate Change and Protecting the Environment?”
- Do they think that their own generation is taking climate change seriously enough?
- Or that their generation is taking climate change more seriously than older generations?
- What should the education system be doing about climate change?
- Should climate change be a compulsory subject at GCSE?
- Should university students studying climate related subjects be allowed to study without paying tuition fees?
- Should the government increase taxes to pay for green energy projects?
These and many more thought-provoking questions will be addressed by a group of talented young people – the next generation who will be charged with combating climate change.
Hear their views and challenge them in a lively Q & A.
Speakers include Arkwright scholars and young Livery members.
